Very obvious what Arum and Warren are trying to pull. If it's classed as a Mandatory then they can't force Whyte to sign a rematch clause.
But if they go down this Voluntary defence route then they can insist the contract includes a rematch clause if Fury loses.

Every smart boxing promoter would want to do exactly the same.

Joes style is tailor made for Fury, Joe's got a better chin but Whyte "the body snatcher" will go to Fury's easier to hit body like Wilder suggested he'd do and Wallin did and Whyte allegedly did in sparring, Fury wants power punches being thrown as his head where is herky, jerky styIe and reflexes can nullify. I think Fury beats Whyte (he adjuests and finds a way) but it's a harder days work. Joe would get to the end but I just can't see his winning plan.

Joyce will have to fight for a vacant world title when he finally gets to. No-one is going to fight him.

Tyson Fury fears no man, and certainly not a bum like Dillian Shyte.

Agree. Whyte wouldn't fight AJ for 3 world titles. He's not fighting a much harder opponent like Fury for 1 title

So Pretty much every HW has no chin in your mind since the only HWs who fought anyone with a pulse since i started watching in the late 80s is Vitali Klitschko & Oliver McCall. Vitali only fought 3 huge punchers in Peter, Sanders & Lewis. Whyte has some good wins on his resume. You sound like a genius with more boxing knowledge than anyone on this site…
Umm are you on drugs bro? Since the late 80s vitali and Tyson’s sparring partner are the only heavyweight fighters who have fought heavy punchers hahaha. Ok, just off the top of my head since ‘late 80s’- Mercer , Holyfield, mike Tyson, BOWE, Tommy Gun, Foreman, Tua,umm I can’t even answer this. Sanders was never known as a KO artist- he was a southpaw and difficult to fight. I’d stick to ballet instead of boxing bro

Vitali & McCall the only 2 who never got dropped. Knocked down! That is what i meant. F**k you & your ballet… lol! Sanders was a heavy handed puncher. I own almost all his fights. Sure his competition wasn’t great but he could still crack. Not sure how he wasn’t a KO guy he Ko’d pretty much every opponent. He was a journeyman though. All the names you mentioned got knocked down in their careers. You said Whyte has a glass chin so i said you must think every HW in history has a glass chin because almost every HW i have seen since the late 80s except Vitali & McCall has been on the canvas…. I realized i didn’t add the been “knocked down” part to my post! My bad but that is what I meant…Valuev wasn’t down but he didn’t face too many big punchers so that is why i never added him.
