Canelo definitely levels above Makabu skill wise

did you just suggest a lightweight could possibly beat canelo?

Skills will prevail in this match. He has nothing to offer Canelo

Outside of a lucky punch there is no way he wins this.

True but it only takes 1 punch. That's why nel O is brave stepping up. Makabu will land and makabu only needs to be perfect for 2 seconds like wilder said.
Floyd didn't dare step up to 160, Crawford won't step up 2 divisions to fight a no skilled big man.
Home advantage, size advantage they are all advantages why nel O critics trying to change logical thought and ideas? Why drain nel O 2lbs, it's because of size advantage and nel O weren't particularly great back then?

Height difference is huge huh? He looks only 2 inches taller. seems to be 5-10 max. Canelo has not even bulked up yet either.

Just as I thought? Ilunga Makabu is wanting to be best mates with Canelo Alvarez.

This is why I don't like this fight. Canelo Alvarez has more fierce and genuine competition at 168 - 175 pounds divisions.

I don't really rate David Benavidez or some of the other guys at 175 very highly 'As I have stated that the middleweight to light heavyweight divisions is under par'.

But at-least all of those fighters, don't care who Canelo Alvarez is 'And they all want to beat him up'.

I am still dubious of this fight, the stipulations regarding the weight it will be fought at 'And the genuine competition'.

There where better fights for Canelo Alvarez out there, but of course? Statistically on paper, to people who don't really know the in's and outs of boxing. This fight can be marketed as a monumental challenge.

I am honestly not sure what will happen in the fight, I am dubious of the entire match up.

It is mainly from Ilunga Makabu's side of things, which I am dubious about. I hope this man comes to win 100%, with genuine intention of beating Canelo Alvarez. I also hope there are no games regarding catch weights and weight stipulations.

This is the first time I see a fighter embracing and shaking hands with a bank check.
