"Tyson is in the driving seat. He’s the champion, he’s fought hard to get there, he’s not had any easy fights."

Sorry Frank... Pianeta, Sefari, Schwarz and Wallin would all disagree with that

Lower it to how much? So they want to low-ball Dillain Whyte. Dillain Whyte is even a bigger draw than Tyson Fury. I guess it's a tactics not to pay for the fight so that Matchroom can counter the offer and pay even much bigger fee than Frank Warren or Arum could offer.

So they're looking to give Whyte 20%, IMO Dillain Whyte is bigger than that.

This whole situation sums up the problems with boxing... Warring promoters causing issues, alphabet titles that mean nothing, crooked organisations that can't even administrate their own useless titles!

I only feel sorry for Whyte due to the money he's given the WBC for absolutely nothing. Daylight robbery.

exactly what I was going to say. 4 of his last 7 fights have been easy fights that he was the overwhelming favourite, could argue that it’s 5 of the last 7 if you include the 3rd Wilder fight

Whyte is not a bigger draw than Fury, what are you smoking? His big win is vs a 40 year old has-been (or never-was depending on how you judge Povetkin) that knocked him out cold in his previous fight.

A split of 70/30 would seem to be fair. That's not too greedy, and Whyte would get something decent.

Fury is the undefeated champion, and Whyte got knocked out twice, so Dillian should be grateful for a shot.

Whyte cannot demand 45%, he is in no position in doing so. But something reasonable should be settled on because Whyte for some reason is popular in the UK.

Tyson Fury big fights has been carried by other fighters where he was the B-side. The third fight with Wilder was just contractual where the winner of the second fight gets the larger share of 60%, still Wilder is the crowd carrier of their trilogy. The fight in Germany with Klitschko he was the B-side. So tell Me which fight Fury has fought where he carried the other fighter to be considerably top tv ratings?

Even the Chisora fight, it was Chisora that carried him.
