Bud Crawford's personality: Bud vs Porter fight prediction

After seeing the Press between Bud and Porter, it was VERY lack luster and boring.

Do you think Bud Crawford has the potential to attract more viewers were his personality more enthusiastic and lively?

    And,

    What's your prediction?

Mine is Bud KO's Porter in Rd. 7

It was boring because, as Porter spoiled, Crawford didn't do his part. BoMac tried, but Kenny Porter took him to school.

    Meanwhile...here's what I thought:

He has to let his fists do the talking. I think stopping Porter will at least give Bud credit from boxing fans. As far as becoming a big draw among casuals? Well thatll have to be done through publicity. Bud needs to go on a reality show or 2. Like that 1 where they eat hot wings or dancing with the stars or something like that. Hell even going on WWE or AEW.

Right, I mean it seems like at Presses, Bud usually never does his part.

...Crawford on Dancing With The Stars.

          ....

You want to further taint his reputation?

So should all black fighters embrace the role as villain to sell?

Oddly enough, I think Buds fight style is the perfect villain but hes personality dont fit it. Also in your video you said promoters alone cant sell a fight which I agree! But where does a fighters manager come into play? Shouldnt their managers be looking for any and every opportunity for their fighter to be in the limelight?

There are so many outlets for nobodies to become famous these days, seems like boxing managers and promoters are stuck in Bedrock.

Yeah it’s definitely held him back in terms of attracting fans. He always seems disengaged with a lot of the media stuff.

I like Crawford by a clear decision, I think he’ll box quite cautiously compared to recent fights.

Saw Crawford on Jalen and Jacoby on ESPN yesterday. Was sad. Those guy are trying to hype up the fight and Crawford is mumbling and bumbling like he’s half asleep. Anyone watching that interview had no reason to watch this guy fight.

Hes very competitive but I just threw dancing with the stars out there as an example.

But all these youtubers have channels with millions of followers, he could literally go play a bball game 1 on 1 against a big youtuber.

My point is there are so many outlets out there to at least get his name/face out there and his competitiveness will attract fans.
