Lets settle this today. Do you consider Lennox Lewis Canadian or British?

I was joking and talking about Oliver McCall. I had forgotten about Rahman when I typed this.Comment

Hey Rexy, you don't get to keep Lennox and dump Greg Rusedski lol.
He repped Britain so it is what it is but really he's a Jamaican just like Razor Ruddock, Ben Johnson, Mike MCCallum, Lloyd Honeyghan, Donovan Bailey and the magical John Barnes.

I'm not a fan of Bruno but he gave Lewis a bit of a boxing lesson until he caught with that left hook. I remember getting loads of stick for that as Lewis fan.
Exactly.
British people are losers. That loser mentality permeates a lot of fighters here. Fury bucks the trend actually but I do question whether his fighting, gypsy roots play a role in that. If you want to compare a quintessentially british fighter to Lewis then look at Bruno and just how inferior he was.
Lewis has only really been British on paper. He doesn't live here, left here when he was twelve and spent a good chunk of his peak fighting in Las Vegas.
Bruno is also Jamaican.Comment

That’s like a 45 minute drive, if that. I’m from Scarborough (******** Toronto) and you can take a Go bus to Kitchener.
EDIT - for some reason I confused Kitchener with Whitby, another near by town. Kitchener probably an hour from
Toronto.Last edited by _Rexy_; 11-18-2021, 11:06 AM.Comment

Definitely Canadian, he fought for their Olympic national team. Only reason people say he's British is because of his accent.Comment
