He’ll go the remainder of his career without facing a Mayweather level fighter

guys like Floyd arrive once maybe thrice in a lifetime

boxing is in a transitional phase right now with Floyd & manny gone

GGG was still in his prime, and at least he fought him. Gayweather wouldn't ride an elevator alone with GGG in it. He ducked him when GGG was willing to fight him at a catchweight, ducked Martinez when Martinez was also willing to come down to 154, ducked Paul Williams, got punked by Margarito. Shut the hell up when after calling out Khabib Nurmagomedov, Khabib said, yeah, but the last round would be an MMA round. Punk wouldn't even give Khabib ONE MMA round.

You want to talk about aging out?

      De la Hoya - old
      Mosley - old
Hatton - made him fight at 147, his worst weight
Pacquiao - wouldn't fight 2009-2011 version before having a couple of losses and battle worn
Marquez - made him come up in weight and Fraud ignored the weight contract
Maidana - paid off to use pillow gloves
      Canelo - weight drained
McGregor - had him fight a boxing match, McGregor should've been allowed to use his legs to make it more even.

      f.uck outta here

He's better defensively for sure. His head movement is and stamina has vastly improved.

But to think that he has improved to the point that a hypothetical fight between he and Floyd would go any different is lunacy.

yeah no shame in getting outboxed by mayweather just canelo fans need to come to terms that it happened, it was one of mayweathers easiest ever fights and that canelo hasnt turned into superman since. hes a world class fighter for sure but in another era where there were real top fighters about he wouldnt be anywhere the top of the p4p lists. ward, hopkins, roy jones, toney wouldnt have had too many problems with him thats for sure. these guys at 168 really are not very good at all

He wasn't knocking the top guys out at 154 or 160, but he's a killer at 168 because all the fighters there were paper champions.
Just admit it you’re a hater it don’t matter what he does you hate him no matter what.

Canelo could have KOed Floyd brutally in a 2015 rematch and you would have said “don’t count Floyd slipped on a banana peel” so what’s the point debating with ignorance.

Canelo has shown more improvements than any fighter I’ve seen of the last 20 yrs that’s a fact. His upper body moment, his body punching. Accuracy, his ability to read an opponent and poise some of the best they game has ever seen he had non of that early in his career. Fact And one I don’t expect you to ever want to admit to.

                Oh FFS. Let. It. Go.

Canelo is clearly the guy right now

Agree he lost to them clearly and has done excellent cherry picking, but of course he has improved, every fighter improves with experience and age until they hit father time . He also learnt how to cycle PEDs well (proven)

                      Ask yourself these questions:

How did BJS become SMW champion?
How did Callum Smith become SMW champion?
Who fa Frank was Rocky Fielding?
Who da Frank was Avni Yildirim? How did Avni Yildirim become a mandatory after a loss? He got KTFO by Chris Eubank lol in his own backyard.
                      Caleb Plant was good.
