His tracking/cutting off ring are elite now and his stamina is just much better now. Him not draining as much prolly helped too.

Body attack seems to evolved too, good point

      He's still a counterpuncher. That's not even a question.

He wasn't knocking the top guys out at 154 or 160, but he's a killer at 168 because all the fighters there were paper champions.
Of course you ain't seeing it, you're a biased, race bating idiot. Pissed that Canelo, a Mexican is the face of boxing, meanwhile Crawford is finally stepping it up competition, Andrade has 5 people show up to his press conference, Deontay keeps getting KO'd by his white boogeyman, and Charlo ducking and dodging Benavidez while begging Canelo for a fight like he's at the welfare line begging for some gov't cheese.

        Keep crying.

First of all, I don't even know what race Canelo is. Don't know, don't care. Aint nobody race baiting. That's what your racist ass thinks. You're a racist troll so you see the world in black and white. EVERYTHING is about race to your dumbass. Second, Canelo's "improvement" is only visible against second tier fighters. Whenever he steps up and fights the best he looks like that same kid Floyd schooled all those years ago. If he can knock out the top guys at 175 then I will absolutely give him his props. Until then I don't want to hear **** about much he's improved because he beat up on a bunch paper champions.

fighters with the amount of experience hes had (he turned pro at 15)and working with same trainer for years dont suddenly improve out of nowhere around their 30s. all thats happened is hes fighting worse opponents and fighters who suit his style better. hes probably a bit better than he was against mayweather but not much, if he fought someone with that style and skill (not that theres many around) he'd lose every round again. watch the videos from then and now and he doesnt look a lot difference. if he didnt feel ready for the mayweather fight he never should have took it, instead of getting embarrassed and then spending the next 8 years crying saying he wasnt ready

He learned its better to beat guys in their prime unlike Floyd.

Is that why he aged out GGG?

The 22 year old 152 pound Canelo wasn't even ranked in the P4P list when he fought Mayweather. His only good win was a razer close decision to Austin Trout. Fast forward 8 years and you see a 168 pound Canelo fighting in his prime and sitting at the top of everybody's P4P list. That doesn't happen without making improvements.

I can agree with you on this. I liked Canelo a lot more at superwelter than anything above that. He had a lot of special effects and finesse to his style. Now he's just too muscular and stiff, feasting on no-hopers, in one of the worst divisions in boxing. I wouldn't mind not seeing again if he retired. Young and rich beyond his wildest dreams.
