All my posts are just my opinion, but I think is where they fool people. It is what takes many people decades to learn, if they learn it at all. The fix is always in, and everybody is in on it. Not everybody like your or me, but everyone who is part of it. This is why they often make the robberies as obvious as possible, instead of being stealthy about it. It's what illusionists call "sleight of hand." They get you to put all your focus on the "corrupt" judge, or ref, so that you focus less on the boxers themselves, and how the whole show is an illusion where everyone is working together, not just the judge or ref helping the A-side.
They get you to look at only small pieces of the puzzle, instead of the big picture. The same thing is done in politics. "It's the **********'s fault!" "No it's the ********s fault!" People only look at one piece or another, but they don't ask, "What if they are working together, and they just pretend to hate each other for the cameras? What if it's just a show, back and forth arguing, with the outcomes pre-planned?"
As for boxing, pick a round of your favorite fight, put it at 0.25 speed so you can actually see exactly what is happening, and then pay close attention to how the punches actually land. You will start to see the bigger picture very quickly.
