you say GGG a coward? Canelo don't want it? They the only two fighters available? What about Andrade, Lara? Plant when he was available in the summer?
GGG has become a coward recently. He doesn't take big fights. Why didn't GGG fight Charlo, Lara, Plant?

Canelo can make fights because he pays guys 10x what their next highest payday would be lol. No one else has that luxury. No one out there really wants to take on a tough test for not that much money. In a way I get it, but it sucks as a fan.

I will say that GGG-Murata is a cash grab, but it is for a belt. And if we are seeding the guys at MW, a 40 year old GGG should get the Murata fight, and then let Andrade and Charlo fight each other for the chance at the winner.

In any sane world that's how it would go, but we know we are living in crazy ville these days.

Is Andrade supposed to be a big fight? Just asking.

I thought the Derevyenchenko fight was going to be the springboard to fighting bigger names consistently. Instead we got Montiel.

I imagine his activity and opposition level is what it is because he's waiting on the potential Canelo ticket (similar to Bivol).

I'd say it's step up from Montiel. Andrade is an undefeated belt holder so it's a fairly big fight regardless what criticism has been said of Andrade himself.

Because he doesn't walk the walk like his lil bro...PBC turned down a Canelo offer so he only has himself to blame, just like Andrade turning down an offer at him.

He is an undefeated belt holder I just don’t think he’s any good. And he doesn’t bring much to the table other than a belt and a high salary. At least Montiel put up an entertaining fight. Win or lose Andrade is going to stink up the joint.

I can respect that take. To be honest, I'm not sure what to make of Andrade even this far into his career. I see some flaws but I also think his awkward style and physical talents can give good fighters headaches.

I think Andrade's problem's are mostly self made. How many fights has he dropped and hurt an opponent early in a fight only to let them survive so he can cruise to a clear (and less than exciting) victory? He's good enough to be a threat but doesn't entertain and doesn't have a real following. Quite simply the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

As for Montiel, he did put up an entertaining fight but he wasn't really supposed to. He was supposed to be the guy that was blasted out by Munguia.

ggg and canelo don't want to fight him, and I thought he handled derevyanchenko better than ggg, who should have lost to derevyanchenko. The only guy willing to fight jermall is andrade, but jermall for some reason doesn't fancy that fight.
