Comments Thread For: Jaime Munguia Decisions Gabe Rosado in Twelve Round Fire-Fight

I didn't call Rosado one of the best. However, Rosado has fought some of the best at the A Class Level, and has given quality fights. The only thing I pointed out, was Munguia showed that he's ready to fight the best that middleweight boxing has to offer. At some point boxers show that they are worthy and ready to challenge for a title on a big stage (The dude has 38 fights under his belt). Say what you want, Munguia showed in handling/beating Rosado that he's ready to accept a challenge from the likes of a GGG. Now whether he wins or not, is a different story.
Against the best?
Rosado had 13 losses and a draw coming into the fight and a 2-5 record against world titlists (beating a blown up Joshua Clottey in 2015 and Kassim Ouma way back in 2009).
Rosado also only has 15 KOs in 42 fights and only 2 in the last 9 years. He can't punch. If GGG or Murata or Charlo landed those punches on Muguia he'd go to sleep inside 5 rounds.Comment

It feels like Rosado finally found a style he likes, too bad it took him till he was in his mid 30s to find itComment

GGG was actually predicted to KO Canelo in under 6 rounds by his crazy ass fans. GGG looked far from what he was hyped up to be vs Canelo in both fights. He was even on the back foot vs Canelo in the rematch, and was called out on his bullsh/t by his own trainer in the in-ring post fight conference.Comment
