I still don't get why Benevidez gets the hype he does,no notable wins,no champions fought, got dropped by a unknown amatuer, can barely make weight, takes no responsibility whatsoever for his actions & talks tons of trash.

The more I analyze his fights I see a Chavez jr 2.0(even Jr accomplished more than him)

You heard it here 1st hes going to either get beaten by a no hoper or hes going to get blasted out in 8 rds by Canelo.

Straight up & down no special effects, he is a textbook plodding brawler which is why I call him Frankenstein.

Just watch how often/easily Dirrell is able to rock/hit him cleanly (& Dirrell sucks, not elite at all, most importantly, way slower, not even comparable to Canelo)

all one has to do is compare him to Mungaia, Mungaia has fought way better comp & is exactly same age,has never been dropped & actually has more skills(despite himself being a certified hypejob)

He faced Gabvril at 20 years old, beat him, then immedietely rematched him and ****ed him up.

He beat the piss out of Dirrell. From pillar to post.

He has a wide variety to his offense. He can fight in the pocket (which canelo doesn't like), and he can shorten hiis shots. He also has a diffrent variety of ways to throw his piston like jab, throws an up jab etc..

He is literally the opposite of striaght up and down special effects, he has a diffrent level of skills then anyone canelo has faced.

not only that he's mentally tough. he's a bully, alwayus been a bully, and looks to hurt you.

All you need to know is Canelo fought for his belt after he got it vacated.

Benefvidez height, jab, length, power, combinations, high work rate is going ot be a serious problem for Canelo.

I don't thionk you understand the size diffrence will be huge in this fight. canelo is fighting a taller guy who can stand and trade with him who can also touch him with a long jab on the outside. GGG wasn't an inside fighter.

Benevidez does not have multiple ways to fight. Thats complete bs,all he ever does is come forward plodding, while blocking with his face til he outclubs the no hoper hes fighting.

As soon as Canelo beats him he'll become another bum whos never fought anyone.

Show me where DB has ever not just come forward like a less skilled version of Jose Benevidez

LOL @ plant beating the **** out of benvidez

Benevidez would beat the living piss out of plant losing 0 rounds. Canelo looked bad in this fight.

Tell me a round (s) to watch in 1 of his fights to see this absolute beast you see.(let me see what you're seeing)

Because I do see some good things, but it reminds me of Deontay Wilder crossed with Jose Benevidez with less power whenever I watch DB fight.

He walks forward,& tries to steamroll his opponents while eating tons of clean shots to the face & body wide open(he squares up completely then armpunches like ggg did v Canelo, except that he doesn't have the defense ggg has either.)

He has good basics & power, but hes been fighting opponents who would get blasted out by Canelo like Rocky Feilding.

David Morrell beats both Plant and Benavidez. Better skills, better power, same size

Benavidez might be easier to figure out but he offers up some challenges that could pose difficult for Canelo. He does come forward but his defense is surprisingly pretty good for that style. He also has size and power and could be durable. I still think Canelo stops him in 10 rounds but it’s the fight I want to see next.

Benevidez will get beat up bad by Canelo. Worst than a knockout in my opinion. He’s not fundamentally sound and has cement feet. Couple that with his lack of head moment and his squared up posture…Canelo will pick him apart badly and rather quickly. It will just be tough because David is a big big boy and will likely have to be killed to the body to stop him.

A prepared Charlo will be a tougher fight. He is fundamentally sound, has power on the move, and also has decent head movement.
