Not surprised, I warned against the outcome in the last post titled “ Terri Harper discusses hand injury “ easy to find as mine were the only comment .
shows you how bad the standard is in this country ( Taylor and fury aside ) I keep saying real boxing people have either past away or left the sport . All your left with are fitness trainers believing they are boxing trainers and when well schooled overseas fighters come over they get found out . Hearn is finding out he’s not as good or experienced as he thinks he is . 5 yr deal with DAZN ? Where will his fighters come from ? Should have stayed with sky , he’s probably having to work 25% harder for the same or less money at the moment and the pressure is mounting as brand DAZN does not have the same pulling power as sky .

Alycia can fight and she's a hottie.

So much for Terri Harper vs Mikaela Mayer.

Not so, Jonas didn't clearly take the title from Harper, Harper rightly kept her belt in that fight

              Jonas won that fight.

i don’t get the whole “you have to take/rip the belt away” - no you don’t. If you win the majority of the rounds then you should win the fight and the belt… and Jonas did win the fight.

Harper was gifted a draw v Jonas and then ducked out of the Choi unification and never rescheduled. They say she has confidence issues and obviously didn’t have the minerals for the unification fight. Glad she lost her belts because of those things.

she’s garbage anyway and fell apart at the weigh in before she got put to sleep on her feet in the fight. Baumgardner has more about her and will be a better competitor In unifications.

Last night was what happens when you’re the product of fighting boxercise lesbians from Estonia and getting gift decisions then coming up against someone that can fight.

Fish n Chips Terri got battered

Eddie only has 1 british male world champ left, Okolie. Even that’s just a product of Usyk moving up and the belts landing in the hands of lesser fighters.

i know he works with overseas fighters but with DAZN trying to make a big splash in the UK, they need big British world title fights

Usually one of the turns off for me with women's boxing is the lack of power so good to see fighters like her winning belts

Yeah, I think it’s getting better though. A lot of the problem has been the standard is so poor with terrible technique too, which never helps. Even the likes of Katie Taylor who is supposedly one of the best, but she gets cracked flush in the face about 50 times a fight, and I’m always thinking if she had opponents with good timing and real technique, she would be in all kinds of trouble.

Sone decent punchers now are winning world titles like Baumgardner last night and Savannah Marshall who puts beatings on her opponents

So maybe the woman’s game is having a rapid increase in quality, like UFC did. So we might get women with much better skills and punching technique rising to the top with the ability to hurt opponents.

You don't like Estrada? I enjoy her fighting style. She has some power too.
