Am not sure what he sees or why he is rating Charlo that high. From what I can see Canelo, Beterbiev and probably Benavidez (not all the way certain) all stop Charlo in a good fight. The 154lb Charlo is the tougher and the better of the two Charlos. I 'll give him a better chance than the 160lb twin. And he's right, these clowns need to start fighting each other instead of sitting on their as.ses waiting for a Canelo payday. No reason why Benavidez vs. Charlo should not have happened. Charlo doesn't seem too eager to make any hard fight. And those giving Plant all this credit, the fight is not at all close. I 'll be very generous giving him 3 rounds. Jabbing all night doesn't win you fights esp if your opponent is pummeling you with hard shots, pressing and pushing you all over the ring. If you are befuddling him with your boxing, I can see it but that was not the case.

Jeez, what a groupie-ish statement.

It's not about having "the best trainer in the world".

It's about the punishment you'd take from facing that level of talent back to back to back.

I don't care who you are, that puts you at an extreme disadvantage, especially when you go into your 30s.

Although, Eddy might have some of that "Mexican beef" ready, so who knows, maybe you're right.
