Wow, look at all this praise Bread has for Canelo. How is this even possible considering that Canelo fans believe he’s a biased racist hater? Guess simple minded people can’t fathom how it’s possible to consider someone to be great, while also thinking they’ve cheated and have also received help from judges. Sort of how the baseball community looks at Barry Bonds.

Canelo vs Charlo does BIG PPV and ticket sales in Houston, Dallas, or San Antonio…Houston because it’s Charlo’s home town, and has both a large African-American, Mexican-American, and Mexican population. Not sure they want to take that away from Vegas since they make millions more in Vegas but Houston would be massive for that and at NRG or Minutemaid. Glad Bread mentioned the Mexican vs black American angle….that produced big fights with Whitaker vs Chavez, Randall vs Chavez, Mayweather vs the Mexican and Mexican American opponents at the end of his career, etc.
however, Mexican vs Mexican American fights are something special and you don’t see too many of them at the top level anymore. One of the best fights in history was Carbajal vs Gonzalez 1….rarely does it get better than that

If Canelo keeps fighting in showtime which I think he will, they will stick to fighting in Vegas, they did great with this Plant fight and they will do great against Charlo and Benavidez.

Moving the fight to Houston to the AT&T Stadium would be very cool as I'm more a fan of fights with huge crowds but it would take a huge loss on money generated as tickets have to be priced at lower value and also people are not spending money on the casinos.

All big fights belong to LV because that's where the business makes mroe sense.
