it became apparent like 5 years ago that these two were saving this fight for their final "cash out" fight. they both seemed to get fights pretty easy with anyone and everyone, they were like the zab judah of this era, losses didnt impact their ability to keep getting fights, they were used as a "name"

after they are shot and milked to death they always had this one last hurrah waiting for them. of course now the demand is really low but it signals they are ready to retire.
