"However, both Khan and Brook are inching in the direction of retirement and a potential fight between them is the last remaining moneymaker." This says it all. Both of these guys are done, but they want to get a fat retirement check before hanging up the gloves for good. Trouble is, these geezers aren't going to make much money fighting at this late stage in their careers. They think they can pull a fast one like Floyd and Manny did, only they ain't Floyd and Manny. At this point, they're more like Moe and Curly.

Oh now he wants to fight Brook after seeing him look like shyt vs Crawford.

Anyways I think Brook would still knock Con out

This ship has kind of sailed for me. Sure I will probably watch it as I watch all fights I can but it sure lost a lot of its luster to me.

I feel like Amir gets stopped again but I’m not sure at this point.

You might just have been using that statement for the joke, (which was pretty funny, by the way) but in case you weren't joking, there is nothing good about that level of plastic surgery.

after they are shot and milked to death they always had this one last hurrah waiting for them. of course now the demand is really low but it signals they are ready to retire.
Naaa, Brook struggled to get decent fights after beating Porter; that’s why he took the GGG fight and ruined his career. (And if anyone says that Brook ducked anybody at all, yet moved up 2 weight classes to fight the most feared fighter in boxing at the time, well just think about what you’re saying).

It was true for the Crawford fight though, and it’s certainly true for all Khan’s big fights. I just hope Brook has enough left to smash that china. At any point up until the Crawford fight I’d have had no doubt that Brook would have timed and stopped Khan, but Brook looked shot to shít with his own chin gone. I don’t think I can bear Khan’s continued delusion if he won.

brook struggled with carson jones, he barely beat porter with a running style away from home, landing just a few straight punches and he chose to fight bums as a protected matchroom fighter just like joshua except the matchmaking wasnt as clever, ie frankie gavin, jojo dan, bizier never knew a man to take so many bum mandatories, he took the GGG fight because it was win win, if he won - amazing, if he didnt then he uses the narrative that he did, oh what a daring to be brave moment, he was just too big and too strong, i'll be a killer at welterweight when i return". irresponsible matchmaking irresponsible by steroid cheat dominic ingle. he really didnt want the spence fight they were kicking up a fuss about that, got it in sheffield. full deck stacked against spence, got his other eye broke. so you need to think about what youre saying. there is some opinion above but also some actual objective facts. brook spent his whole career padding his record up until porter and then burnt out rapidly with two quality opponents. his resume = one W vs shawn porter. how many current or former world champions did amir khan face how many did he beat? he has a much more impressive career amateur and pro, wouldnt be surprised if he schools brook but of course khan is a quitter now. the khan that beat maidana or even the khan that beat collazo vs the brook that beat porter would of been nice. a good fight. pointless now. salient point is brook is not some ambitious warrior like you portray him to be, khan going to america and chasing the dream to unify reallty is more up that alley

At a MUCH lower level, this is like Chavez v Camacho, Lewis v Tyson or, if it ever happens, Crawford v Spence. Whoever wins will tell you little or nothing about who would've won if they'd fought when they should, when they were both good. Help boxing live, make fights happen.
