AJ has lost two fights (embarassingly) that he was supposed to win. I never saw Rob McCracken slap him across the mouth and tell him what's up in those fights. Quite the opposite, his corner tells him he's fighting "brilliantly" when he's getting his ass beat. Elite fighters don't need buddies as cornermen.

If be angry too if I had been told I was best boxer on earth but then got destroyed by fattest boxer in history, and then by someone from a smaller division.

I'm sure he does Edward, but once he gets hit in the face, he'll have flashbacks and resort to passive mode again.

Wilder was, and is, the A-side in America over Joshua.

Nah he's just a ****ing cuckold lowlife like most of Joshua's nuthuggers on here. The dude has such a weird off fanbase. Probably reflects in his lack of direction. Someone said he's pretty much a god in his Sheffield base. It's that very aura which has been his undoing. He has no one guiding him and telling him what's what.

Ah, my apologies. You were just indulging in some partisanship, which I have no problem with at all.

We're in agreement that trainers need to tell the fighter what day it is, w/no bull****, and we're in agreement that Joshua should've beat Ruiz.

I'll tell you now, he absolutely should NOT have been expected to win against Usyk and anyone who said so in the forerunning of the event either doesn't know much about boxing, works for Matchroom's PR department or is a journalist for Skysports.

In fairness, even AJ's biggest cheerleaders in boxing (the actual ex-boxers) couldn't say with real conviction that he would win or at least thought it would be close. And we're talking about people whose job is ostensibly to big him up.
