O yea .... normally a thread like this would have many more comments by now, but these Haymon haters are in their grandmama's basement right now shytting on themselves. They wanted this event to fail so bad but unfortunately it didnt. Haymon just put in the dirt the whole "PPV is dead, apps are the future" bullshyte. 800k was against Plant who really doesn't have a 'natural' boxing fanbase in America, but Charlo and Benevidez do. I remember so many people thinking the UFC fight taking place was going to kill the sales of this event lol. The live gate was TWICE as much as the UFC gate and this did 800k buys. Shows the market for Canelo and boxing does not get impacted much with the UFC market.

They wanted the ufc to kill the PPV buys in hopes that the fight would hurt haymon, pbc, and showtime. They hate Haymon so much they wanted Canelo to have a lesser financial night for it.
