American trainers are far more knowledgeable all around as a boxing enthusiast for decades that’s just a fact it’s why your favorite fighter was able to knockout Wilder twice wasnt it ? The last two great heavyweight fighters had American trainers , 20 years what ?

Either way I don’t see anyone fixing AJ. Once you start accepting defeat after 9 rounds and checking out, you never really get that fighting spirit back. You only become more beatable.

Ruiz defeated AJ in much more dominant fashion where scorecards weren’t even a factor, you guys said the same thing then and I’m sure you’ll say it again if AJ has to get any titles back in a loss .

He also trained Usyk the fighter he is today and gave him his start and stated he would know how to defeat him if he was the trainer . Wouldn’t it be logical to get that guy ?
You've convinced me that there is no one better for Joshua. The guy checks all the boxes.

P***** me off too, but Christ, you’re talking as if it’s every week
Right... that’s a pretty typical turnaround for any top fighter not named Canelo Alvarez

Anthony Joshua just needs to stop taking fighters lightly

and stop taking on undersized opponents thinking its the easy route.

That is an interesting comment. Firstly, Andy Lee don't want that work himself.
secondly, he implies that AJ comes with a big entourage & Adam will only succeed if the entourage goes.
Personally, I think Rob McCracken would succeed with AJ IF the entourage goes.

One of the most important attributes of a trainer is the experience & knowledge of seeing dozens, or hundreds of careers. That is what a fighter hasn't got. Sometimes I see a fighter who's decided he doesn't need to do roadwork anymore, or he can party between fights, or he can crash weights & he, & the idiot friends he's got, will say, 'Still winning'. That makes as much sense as the man who jumped off the Empire State Building &, as he passed floor 20, said 'so far so good'.
