Believe it or not, Boots has been fighting on PBC cards lately but he is not actually signed to Al.

A win over Thurman would get him there, otherwise he's gotta look who's ranked above him and get them.

I don't see a fight with Spence happening though. Spence might stay at 147 for a unification but I suspect that he's heading to 154 sooner than later.
Thurman says, "I've never heard of him!" Lol! You're right about Spence! Boots will have to catch him @ 154!

Fairly sure that Abdukakarov is on the IBF side - and they mostly have not pushed the issue because of Spence/Manny potentially happening, then Spence/Ugas potentially happening, then Spence's eye injury.

IN other words, they're the only org that is trying to give Spence the benefit of the doubt for unification.

Like, if Crawford somehow beats Porter and Spence calls him out, IBF is not going to push mandatory if Spence wants that fight, I can almost guarantee you.

That's the challenge when you have multiple org belts. You have to balance all of them out. The WBA is the one still having a hard time with it. So if you want Boots Ennis to get a shot at someone, he should go that direction first - and I frankly wouldn't mind him against Ugas, I think Ugas exposes him even if he doesn't win, and I think Ortiz exposes him.

I don't see what everyone else sees in the guy besides a decently athletic, flashy fighter that gets hit clean down the pipe all night long.
Ugas has to face Stanionis, and if he wins, he has to face Butaev! That route takes too long! If you don't see what everybody else sees, you're the one with the problem! When he gets hit, did you see him dropped, like Ortiz was by Kavaliauskas? If the IBF is not going to force Spence to fight Abdukakhorov, then force Abdukakhorov to fight Ennis! MAN UP!

People who say "Shakur doesn't deserve Valdez," are idiots! Shakur has been chasing Valdez since 126! Shakur is now a 2-Weight Champion! It's sad and very disrespectful, that Arum would rather let Navarette come from 126 to fight Valdez, but he made Shakur go the long route!

Ugas isn't the only target bro.

Vergil Ortiz still holds WBA Gold, which is supposed to entitle him to a shot at the champ (not sure why he hasn't used it). https://www.wbaboxing.com/wba-ranking

I've said repeatedly, I think Ortiz beats Ennis. So do that fight as an eliminator for mandatory and it's a fight that can be marketed VERY well given both guys are knockout fighters.

Ortiz and Ennis aren't even in their 30's. There's time.

Oh, it would be nice, but Oscar and B-Hop are not that ******! Ennis would ruin his future!

Ennis is getting lots of love right now, let’s see him in the ring with Crawford or Spence or at least Garcia or Porter before it’s too late. That way we’ll know more than just the eye test.

This fight will happen maybe at 154/160 in a few years.
