Facts. One camp is not enough to make any effective change especially changes as drastic as I believe Joshua will need. Had he taken a tune up or two he may find the changes work well for him and he’d come into the rematch with confidence in the style. Same thing I said with Wilder before Fury 3. One camp just means you revert back to what you know when the fight gets tough and can even confuse a veteran fighter.

I doubt any of this will make a real difference , Joshua is static ,struggles on the back foot and in recent fights seems to lack confidence in his chin. Usyk was a great cruiserweight but is just a good heavyweight but this seems enough to beat Joshua again as Joshua will be trying to improve on different things in just four months until his rematch. It's a pity we are having to go through this and not see Fury v Usyk and give Joshua time to go back and improve.Comment

He wants a teacher/mentor type of figure rather than a technical coach. That's why he said 'im done with LEARNING' ie whatever tools he has now, he doesnt want to be trying new things, he just wants someone to give him self belief and that old dog mentality that he's lost.

Joshua needs someone to stop his back leg going all Bambi when he takes a touch.
Usyk a Curiserweight tagged him early and Joshua visibly into a bumbling mess, imagine Wilder touching him up!Comment

Yeah i have to agree its pretty ridiculous. usually a boxer just announces their new trainer. but because he has made it public knowledge even fellow boxers that havent even accomplished anything in boxing are offering their helpComment

Well he needs to crack on finding his guy cuz he's got a bit to learn and not long to turn it into instinct. Anybody who has boxed will know if you change what you know it takes time to become natural and under pressure its easy to just revert back to what you know.

This is the best decision AJ will make in his career. I compare Joshua to Cotto, another fighter that changed his style mid-career to adopt one that wasn't as favorable to him; they continue to be excellent fighters and even dominant against lesser opponents, but fail to be at their best against the best due to their lack of ring generalship in their adopted style.
Joshua should revert to the pre-Parker Joshua, the boxer-puncher that presses forward patiently behind the jab and counters mistakes. He's faster offensively and defensively and more fluid than he was before the style change so he can be even better than before. Canelo's the best today utilizing the exact style he needs to implement and Reynoso might be the best option, although all the trainers mentioned have trained a top fighter with the qualities that AJ has to implement and can help him make that adjustment. The gap between Joshua and Usyk in the first fight isn't much that a change in approach won't change.
Hopefully, he gets the trainer that he learns the best under because boxing and the heavyweight division is better with AJ in the mix.Comment
