Some of Hatton's camp (especially his father, although not Hatton himself) tried to lay all the blame for his performance against Pac at the door of Mayweather Snr, which made Hatton look bad. It's to his credit that he hasn't made any excuses himself, but I wish he'd specifically spoken out and contradicted those in his camp who were making excuses on his behalf. I appreciate that it's difficult to publicly contradict your own father, though.

Is it just me, or are all the Cotto and Margarito stans rooting for Paul Williams to get beat by Pavlik? I am one of these Paul fans who does not like Floyd. But I think Margarito and Cotto are a couple of punching bags and Paul already dominated Margo and would've dominated Cotto if he got the chance. I come out and say who I really think the threats to Floyd are instead of just picking out random guys because of their Latino fan base. Williams and Mosley are substance fighters and Cotto and Margarito are limited.

I think Pavlik is limited like Margarito and Cotto too, but the only difference is he punches harder and is naturally bigger. I still see Paul taking his ass to school.

ya man for real when youre close to everyone in your camp its a little hard to come out and say the opposite of what they are saying...thats one thing that i really appriciate about fighters (some of them at least) when they take responsibility for the out come of the fight and dont try to lay the blame else where...i remember after the judah baldomir fight zab was tryin to say that he wasnt blaming anyone but thats all he was doing and the interviewer called him out on it...it was hilarious
