I hope neither get the fight since they havent EARNED it. Its pathetic how this new age of fighters just sits around fighting TBA and begs and feels entitled to paydays.

I wouldn't mind the Beterbiev fight either. Benavidez is a dangerous guy, former champ who lost his titles due to his own personal failures outside the ring. Charlo is a 2 division champ who according to the WBC rules would get a shot because he held the title while moving to another division. I agree that they haven't necessarily earned it though, but those are the names out there that aren't GGG. To be honest nobody has "earned" a shot at Canelo

Charlo? LOL. He fights nothing like Plant. He brings nothing to the table. When's his next fight? Is he even fighting at 168? Is he going to wait until Canelo announces his next fight to make a move?

Answer those questions.

As far as knocking out Canelo, lol, if GGG couldn't KO Canelo, no way would Charla come close to KOing Canelo.

Good post. I don’t know who these guys think have earned it….Saunders? Smith? The Turkish fella? Jc Chavez Jr? Canelo had already stated he intends to defend his titles at super middleweight, he isn’t going to light heavyweight.

All this won't matter because Saul Alvarez will become franchise champion again, and the WBC convention is coming up soon so he won't fight Benavidez next maybe in september or may of 2023 he need to thank Benavidez for missing weight because that was the only way became undisputed after fighting Callum Smith for vacant WBC super middleweight belt even though he wasn't even in the top 15 of the sanctioning body ranking before the match just had the WBA regular trinket.

He can do business with Haymon but it will only be on a fight by fight basis where Canelo maintains the leverage.
I don’t think he trusts Haymon 100%. Some of that comes how Haymon dis Golden Boy dirty.
But now Canelo can create a bidding war and really cash out. That’s a good thing having DAZN and Haymon trying to outbid each other.
