I don't know how you observe that... if you tell me something like, " when plant moved left, canelo threw hard hooks"... I can look for that, and confirm. You can see canelo backing off of plant after a jab...

How do I look for plant "taking his eyes off, and what does it mean taking his eyes off?sounds like you just are describing canelo hitting plant.

A jab was only a hindrance for Canelo. It was nothing for him to overcome. Plant lost a lopsided fight. I was actually hoping that he would be more competitive. He was not. Watch the fight again. You will see that when Plant covered up, he did not keep his eyes on Canelo. Canelo was aware of this and used the opportunities to load up and land on Plant. This happened often during the fight. A level boxers won't allow this to happen. An outclassed Plant, did.
