Let’s hope? As if Canelo had placed the Champions at 168…might as well say Usyk and Taylor should’ve “upped” their opposition for their Undisputed fights…

That’s because Golden Boy was closely tied with Haymon fighters and HBO backed guys like GGG.
Once Haymon left him to do PBC and HBO got out of the boxing business being tied to Golden Boy didn’t mean much.
Plus Oscar bs’ing with DAZN caused a strain relationship and made it harder to do business with them and get the fights Canelo wanted.
DAZN is already making plans to ditch Oscar and Golden Boy.

Indeed, he would be fun to see Canelo go on some sort of a "world tour".

Perhaps his next fight a third attempt at trying to beat Golovkin?

Agree, most of the criticism he does get is just plain jealousy, trolls or people that don’t know anything about the sport, so pay them no mind. The fact he’s also only 31 is also crazy, not many pro’s fight over 60 times these days he could easily end up being the most active boxer of the decade, which given his successes and wars he’s been in is crazy.

The biggest joke of a run is the one Crawford is on, or Charlo, or Andrade, who have they exactly beat? Crawford 33, Charlo 30, Andrade 30 and have not fought anyone, I mean Crawford is now finally fighting someone dangerous, While Canelo has been doing it since he was 21.

I really can’t see anyone at SMW who can beat him. You’d have to revive Calzaghe or B-Hop in their prime to come close. B-Hop would have been his kryptonite, boring contest for most spectators but his countering Canelo’s pressure and landing single shots would win on the scorecards and he wouldn’t be getting KO’d

It just so happens that continuing with the pbc does just that for him.Now you have yourself a good day. Any time you bigots see Haymon spoken about it really chaps your hides doesn’t it. Don’t hide it man, just embrace what you are

Will be curious what direction Canelo goes next for the Cinco de Mayo fight. Good that he unified the belts. Didn't get the PPV, no way I could justify $80 for a main event I felt was a forgone conclusion and a trash undercard headlined by Anthony Dirrell.

If his next fight is PPV (whether that be PBC, TR or DAZN) hopefully they can give a half decent slate of fights to support the main event.

How about Top Rank if he goes for the Beterbiev fight?
