For the same reason odh made the Bhop fight at 156, Canelo made Lara at 155, Manny made the Cotto fight at 147, etc etc.

Cash cows and the bigger earners have the ability to set weights in fights, among other stipulations, that give them the best chance to win.

If you’re a legit fan you absolutely know this and know it’s been done hundreds of times.

It’s not that Floyd fans ignore this, it’s that dudes like you only hold this against Floyd.

Going off what you just posted, it seemed that way. If I am wrong I apologize.

Lets be real- everything Floyd did as the cash cow was done before him either by Leonard or ODH.

They all do it, no doubt about that.

I don't hate on Floyd, not in my mind anyway. He was a great boxer, and in all his fights, to never have been dominated at any time, never really hurt, never dropped/stopped, is extremely impressive.

I don't remember Sugar Ray or Oscar justifying dragging a lightweight up two weight classes because he had a country behind him

I’m fine if you don’t like Floyd.

I just push back when posters act like he invented using a side advantage or other garbage that they only hold against Floyd.

I used to think that Mayweather defeated a green Alvarez. But in fact, Canelo had 42 fights to Floyd's 44 at the time of their bout. And, Canelo had defeated Trout, Lopez, Mosley, Cintron and Gomez. I'm not a big Mayweather fan, but he figured out how to beat Canelo and he executed a nearly perfect plan at the age of 36 against a 23 year old, highly talented, undefeated fighter. After that, Canelo got better and Floyd got older. There couldn't have been a better time for them to fight with that 13 year age gap.
