Plant had good stretches in the fight, but not quite to Canelo's level.

He got a great payday, doesn't even have to fight again, although I'm sure he will. His story is one of overcoming a lot of heartbreak, and it's great that he has a good career, a lot of money, a lovely wife and a child.

Canelo had trouble scoring through Plant's shoulder roll defense. He himself acknowledged that things got more difficult than expected.

Why does that upset you so much?

He was eventually able to wear Plant down and break through and get the win, which in the end is all that matters. But that isn't going to stop me from speaking the truth about how I thought the fight went. I'm a big Canelo fan but why should I hold my tongue about that, what's wrong with you?

Bro, if anyone is upset it's you, for the simple fact that you have been saying that Plant was going to school Canelo, just like you said Saunders was going to school Canelo, and when that doesn't happen, you come up with your made up "facts" to make yourself feel better. I don't know what's not to like about Canelo. He'd be a great champion in any era. IMO, the best Mexican fighter of all time. Plant would've beaten Callum and Saunders last night

Plant did better than I expected , he certainly wasn't six rounds adrift as one idiot judge had it .Canelo was just coming on as Plant was fading , up until then Plant was well in it .Canelo couldn't get going due to Plants work rate and movement that seemed to confuse and frustrate him. Weisfeld needs to be looked at with his ridiculous scorecard that was in no way any where near what happened.

Great fight! Plant put a up a good fight but there's no denying Canelo. Had to admit, Canelo is the face of boxing right now. He's probably #1 on the P4P list like it or not. Now if he go back to light heavy and able unify it at only 5'8" height, he'll go down as one of the best!
