I like many get up at ridiculous times to watch the great fights and fighters on cards from America , las Vegas sometimes 5.30 am and I like to witness live Canelo as part of it BUT Canelo through no fault of his own seems to get some big passes with the money machine he presents .Last night six rounds in front to rd 10 when he didn't start until r6-7 .The 114-114 to Mayweather when he was so clearly beaten .It feels like you would have to knock him out there to get a win.

Canelo didn't let the fight go to the judges. Why even talk about them as if they were a factor?

That's not true. There have been many undisputed champions. He's just one of the 6 during the 4 belt era. Made possible by having 4 belts available instead of 2 or 3.

Well, obviously we're talking about only 6 undisputed champions in the 4 belt era.

Quite an accomplishment. It's not easy to corral all four belts at one time.

Canelo is the whole package and an atg, but he hasn’t really challenged himself since the last GGG fight. He is far superior to his last few opponents and was a heavy favorite…some would say he is playing it safe and cherry-picking for his huge paydays.

it is a great accomplishment, but if it was the 70's where there were only 2 belts, 2 of the champions Canelo faced wouldn't have held belts. You know how it goes. More belts=watered down. Canelo's star power made it easy for him to get the fights. Yes, his ability won him the fights. He's a great champ. Keep in mind though, Terrence Crawford is one of the 6 to hold all 4 belts. Who did he beat, again? I like Crawford, but even I have to admit he beat some soft competition for his 4 belts.

Yeah, but GGG is a future HOFer, as is Canelo; its not like these type are growing on trees for him to challenge himself with. I guess he could move up to a weight class where he doesn't belong, and just handicap himself by being too small for his opponents. But why fight at less than his best just to prove himself as great again?

Plant did better than a lot of Canelo opponents of the past.
