What example should I look at to see this certain power..some of the shots plant hit canelo with had some serious mustard behind them

Benavidez wears people down with an accumulation of punches and non stop pressure. in all his stoppages he's landed more punches on "insert opponant" than plants stoppages of "insert opponant"

You see if you do the basic maths then it would suggest plant has more one punch power

Not saying David crushes Canelo but if they fought, I would favor David to stop Canelo in the championship rounds.
And what makes you think this?
Trust me I'm no canelo fan but you're reaching with this Benanvidez hype

Benanvidez would play right into Canelos hands you can't one style walk forward and pressure a hard hitting counter puncher like Canelo

Canelo has proved himself now he can fight many different ways in several divisions and had tremendous fights with ggg back and fourth

the punishment Canelo absorbed from GGG is far more than anything David would be able to muster up ,top that with Canelo being so Dynamic and being able to fight several ways, his defence if he is hurt is up there and his recuperative powers are upper tier

Plant has an exceptional defence and canelo still found the gaps

David has no chance of steam rolling Canelo

I don't really understand how so many don't see that Canelo still has a stamina issue and fights in spurts to mitigate it. I don't think David will steamroll Canelo but as the fight goes deep he will handily start to dominate Canelo who will tire.

Plant defense is nice but it always looks forced, not natural. He has a hard time converting from defense to offense and lacks power. Some people are born boxers, David is a born boxer and will be the naturally larger man. I would bet half of what I own that he walks out victorious over Canelo.

It’s the best action fight for Canelo at 168. The last pressure fighter Canelo faced was Ángulo and Canelo put on a virtuoso performance that was fun while it lasted.

Benavidez is bigger, younger, strong, and will go balls to the wall to make it a fight. I don’t see Canelo losing at 168, so I’d prefer to see him fight a great action-packed fight against Benavidez than out pointing Charlo in a good chess match.

Benavidez would of stopped Callum Smith, Saunders and Plant. Not sure why people are saying it will be a easy fight for Canelo, I wouldn’t be surprise if they fight it will be Margarito-Cotto 1 minus the hand wrap. Canelo looks good early but second half of the fight Benavidez takes over and stops Canelo late.

I just can't understand how you are so certain that Benevidez is so good considering the bums hes fought & struggled with,& considering hes draining himself to make smw

Benevidez is great and probably beats a lot of the top guys at 168 but, not Canelo. He is defensively average and fights too squared up with a soft body and slow feet. Only guys that beat Canelo are guys who can **** in the middle of the ring while making Canelo miss. The hit and run technique is not going to work anymore…please watch the lat 6 rounds of the Jacobs fight. That’s the only way you beat Canelo

hell no. yall need to stop clinging to the pubic follicles of every fighter at 168 beating bums. Canelo beats the hell out of everyone from 168 on down and I honestly don't see anyone at 175 beating him either. Beterbiev is almost 40 with no defense. Canelo's right glove would be attached to his face permanently all fight

To get his own shots off David will open himself up and take some serious damage..enough to make him gas as the fight goes on

This guy doesn't have the same educated come forward style golovkin has with a tremendous jab and defence

David gets blown out in 8 rounds easily he will take too many big shots and he's not a serious concussive hitter..he will need to put on a sustained beating to wear canelo down and I can't see that happening
