What’s funny is most of these dunces have no clue that we are watching a very special time in boxing. Canelo is exceptional and faced a highly technical challenge. I thoroughly enjoyed this fight from start to finish. The other weight classes need to get off Social Media and fight. At least there’s one champion fighting 2-3 times a year.

Shout out to all the people handing out participation trophies to Plant after proclaiming he’s “the better boxer” and “he will destroy Canelo”. These same folks are saying Plant is the better boxer and “won more rounds”—all while their man got knocked out. Sports punditry is at an all time low, especially boxing. Fanboys will call the dude laying on his back a better fighter and forget that boxing has one irrefutable and decisive way to determine who the best is—a knocked out. No debates, no discussion. Unless of course you hate one fighter so much that you toss all logic and history of the sport aside. Sad sad day for online amateur boxing fetishists, great day for people who understand pro fighting style and great boxing IQ supersedes paddy cake nonsense. TMT. You always find something to criticize Canelo. The difference is Plant tried to fight the style of Mayweather, and he didn't run and grab as much as Mayweather. He did stay there and fight. Give credit to Canelo when credit is due.

So much of you guys on here who are scoring need to stop, Anyone giving plant more than 4 rounds don't know ish about boxing. Dude started off good but his output went downhill quick and was taking to much body shots. Plant just ended up wanting to survive instead of winning.
