    Funny how life works out.
The smartest person (literally) to have been a boxer, that I know of, is Bobby Czyz.
I don't think he has a net worth

I wasn't a Floyd Mayweather fan until he beat Saul Canelo Alvarez. I remember my friends stating
Floyd was crazy thinking HBO would agree to pay 5 million per fight. How wrong we were. 5 million
rapidly became a low number. Floyd proved himself in the ring and is now enjoying the fruits of his
labor. But most importantly Floyd sounds and looks healthy.

I tell all my business clients as their accountant, "It's not how much you make that matters, it's
how much you legally get to keep that's important'. Mike Tyson was also mentioned but money
      seemed to curse him.

Floyd cong**** on your #6 standing.

he could read enough to find his direction of what he wants to do with his life. That my man has made him a billionaire.

He knows what the hell he’s doing, for sure, but being only no.6 will haunt him!

Great boxer, though not keen on his character overall, but what you’ve said at the end is the bit.

He got into the game, made all that money, committed a couple of heists at the end with mega expensive exhibitions, got out of the game, Scot-free. Absolutely unreal performance

This shows that there is indeed a large market for boxing in the USA for American fighters who have the talent, the team, and the personality. Mayweather can look back on his career just like Frank Sinatra said, “I did it my way.”

Yes, he did what he had to do whether people liked him for it or not.

                      Consider this

Floyd did it with zero sponsors

And boxing isn’t a mainstream sport
