To be fair I've got nothing against Plant , he has a good story too its just i cant see him getting out of harms way. He is not a better boxer than Lara and Canelo still managed to get the job done against him, although contentious. Canelo is a much better version than that fighter. The last time a fight was personal like this for Canelo was GGG rematch and i was actually a Canelo hater then being a fan of Mayweather and hating Oscar i always wanted Canelo to lose .Not to mention the meat scandal .At the time i thought Canelo there is no way out for you you were lucky in the first GGG fight and anything other than a win your whole career will be questioned". Can u imagine the pressure on his shoulders? anyway not only did he win but he made a career pressure fighter fight like Pernall Whittaker. I was so impressed. He made a fan out of me that day and he has gone from strength to strength. Now when i think about CALEB i just think about his fight vs Truax.

I've got nothing against Nelo, I think he's the best fighter right now (he did lose that first GGG fight though) but in a way although I know he takes boxing seriously I think he's overlooking Plant. Granted Caleb's resume since winning that title is horrendous, he's still a very good fighter. Fast hands, goes to the body, faster feet than Canelo, excellent jab. I think early on he's going to look great and we know Canelo isn't exactly a fast starter. I am worried a bit about the second half of the fight. Although Canelo used to have stamina problems we've seen him trust in his tank and get better late (probably more to him not being as busy early) and we've also seen Plant fade a bit late (Uzcategui fight). I think Plant is going to put on the performance of his life (which still may not be enough). If there were absolutely no chance then I'd pick Canelo, but I think Plant is being overlooked. People are acting like he's a bum and that's far from the truth. Whichever one wins though I'm happy to see these types of fights.

I think its very likely its all staged to sell the fight. I noticed at the presser when they got into their "fight" they both came at each other with open hands, slaps. Seems pre-arranged to me to try to protect their hands.

We seen presser fights with morales-barrera and they threw closed fists. Those werent staged.
that's the feeling I get. Weren't no two footed dropkick from a car was it

            Chavez/Haugen all over again.

You call Smith and Saunders low rent? Well Plant is Section 8 housing.
Frankie Randall wasn't white but he was from Tennessee and beat the great Chavez.
