I anticipate it being scorecard competitive for the first 7 rounds and then Plant has to modify his approach because of the strength of the body attack and the strength of the counterpunching from Canelo. If this happens, his adjustment will be made out of plan B weakness and not a desire to close any kind of show. I think it will eventually be too much for him.
This is of course opinion and not some kind of certain fact in my delusional brain.

Plant will have to run for it to be competitive in the first 7 rounds. Plant hasn't faced anyone the caliber of Canelo and he'll find out quickly when Alvarez busts up his shoulder or slams a right hand to the body or head. I saw one fight of Plant's and my Lord, he leads with his head in. That is tailor made for a "Good Night Irene" fight for Plant.

he didnt even really say anything. he said hes the best, going to win ect like everyone else. then he talked some chit at the presser and they pushed and slapped each other.

I think its very likely its all staged to sell the fight. I noticed at the presser when they got into their "fight" they both came at each other with open hands, slaps. Seems pre-arranged to me to try to protect their hands.

We seen presser fights with morales-barrera and they threw closed fists. Those werent staged.

I think Plant has a better shot at it than BJS. And BJS didn’t do that bad himself he was competitive. I think Plant will do a lot better than him.

Canelo is just a sensitive guy. He gets busted for cheating but gets mad whenever it’s brought up as if he’s above criticism. His fan base is the same way, they take criticism against him personal as if they actually know him. End of the day, all athletes will be criticized and when you’re treated with unfair entitlement and get caught cheating, prepare for people to bring it up.

I think Canelo won't fight angrily. Canelo is the deserved betting favourite, but I'm not sure who wins the fight. I have to see how slick Plant is as he steps up for his toughest fight.
