    Who had Usyk beating AJ?

....but I get it....we're not sure if plant has the fire power to back up alvarez when needed....you never know in this sport.

I hope Plant understands he needs a stoppage to win. Mayweather took Canelo to school and got a majority decision. And we are talking about Mayweather here.

If Plant scores 3 knockdowns and wins 10 rounds, he maybe gets a draw, lol.

He beats a drunk, old as well as a shot Kovalev that I believe absolutely feared Canelo in a Tyson sort of way before he even entered the ring. He also hasn't fought since Canelo KO'ed him and and my bet is that he never fights again. He beats Saunders who's biggest wins were a SD over Eubanks eight years ago and the beating of the one dimensional Lemieux. None of these fighters come close to being world beaters. That also doesn't take into account that Canelo should have lost to Lara and GGG and the second fight was also close. I also clearly remember many in the boxing world claiming that GGG was highly overrated and it would be an easy fight for Canelo before the first fight. Many also believed that the Trout fight was to close to call and Jacobs was was also able to make it a close fight and I felt no need to even mention Floyd. So based on his resume since he moved up I don't understand all the hoopla of him being such monster that can't be beat. As far as Plant is concerned I believe his biggest handicap isn't even his lack of knock out power I believe it is his lack of stamina. I would hope that would have been something he has worked on and he also doesn't seem to have any fear of Canelo. I won't say that lant will win but I do believe that Plant is the best fighter by a long shot that Canelo has faced since he moved up from those pesky middleweights. Remember them the ones who should have won a couple of those fights and made most of them close.
Please spend that same energy breaking down Plant's opponents. At least Canelo has taken on most comers/styles no matter how much you try to distort his records. Plant has done the exact opposite, pretty much avoided any stiff competition to preserve a Canelo payday. That right there tells you all you need to know and that will be his undoing. As much as you tried to detract from Canelo with those opponents, you conveniently left out how better Canelo has gotten since those fights while you can argue Plant has regressed since his title win. Hate to break it to you, Canelo is a heavy favorite for a reason and all those trainers and students of the game picking him are not just drinking the kool aid. Plant's only perceived advantage is his boxing but even then Canelo might be the better boxer of the two. Plant getting all muscular doesn't help his case either cos it will hamper his movement and play into his stamina in the later rounds. All bad signs for him, he is going to get a thorough beating if not stopped but at least he will get the payday he held out for. I hate how he scathed with the PED saga but Canelo is far from hype, trust me, the guy is the goods, he's got the game down pat at this point.

He cleared out a weak division. It is what it is. Its hard as hell to even become undisputed and to be frank canelo prob had a lot more support from the ABC's than other fighters were. Someone that doesnt bring in the cash canelo does would be forced to fight worthless mandatories in between their shots at more belts. Canelo they let him have back to back to back unification fights.

Thing is at this point there isnt anyone at 168 he wouldnt have beat. He could have fought andrande (who beat nobody) or the charlos but that is really it and they are no threat. He has to go to 175 for beterbiev and bivol for it to be a challenge.

If he fights Bivol it must be at 175, i want the win to mean something. I dont want to have an astrix next to it and say he beat a drained bivol at 168. After all of this just go get full credit.

Wow, an actual mature reasonable response with no foulness. I appreciate that. Thanks!

The fact that cheatelo went from 154 to 175 and vastly increased power and knocking guys out shows he is still eating that Mexican meat.

I find these statements to be as ridiculous as they are hilarious. He cut his nose because he hit Plant's glasses.

                    Time will tell, bro.

Plant brings so much questions marks to this fight, I think majority of us see this fight about what Canleo does but what Plant brings to the table.

I do believe that BJS southpaw stance plus his ankwardness was gonna be always a bigger problem for Canelo, but we'll see.

I wasn't focused on Plant because he isn't the one that everyone is claiming to be some kind of unbeatable monster. It is also rather easy to look like you have improved when the level of you competition drops off as much as Canelo's has since he moved up. I don't know how any reasonable as well as knowledgeable boxing fan can honestly believe otherwise. I also find it rather su****ious, I won't go as far as to say that he is cheating, that Canelo is one of few fighters in the history of the sport who's hands have actually gotten heavier as he moved up in weight. As far as Plant is concerned, if he is even as half as bad as you believe him to be that does little to change my opinion of Canelo.
