Easy for me to see that plant boxes Canelo's head off and wins. He's just too big and too skilled. Canelo either likes them small and skilled or big and minimally skilled.....plant is big and skilled unlike Callum the weak Brit smith.

Plants wins easy. MARK MY WORDS LOL
Kovalev was also a big skilled fighter, lot of people underrated him as a boxer, but the dude can really box, sure, he wasn't on his prime, still he was a top 4 LHG when Canelo fought him, and gave a very close competitive fight.

I do think Smith is a very good fighter, he stopped ice cold a dude who went 12 with Bivol after the Canelo defeat.

The only thing that tells me that Plant is skilled is the eye tes, the biggest problem I got with Plant is that his resume is the weakest of the 168 champions before Canelo took the other belts. I can see Plant giving Canelo a tougher fight then Kovalev and Saunders but I'm not on that Plant hype train yet, he has to prove me wrong, the guy can look spectacular agaisnt C level fighters but he is gonna fight the consensus #1 P4P in the world.

Also, no mean to disrespect you, but that "Mark my words" comes most of the time from guys who pick the outcome of a fight and are wrong, we'll see, I do think Plant is a very skilled fighter but I don't rate him above Kovalev, Smith or Saunders, resume is everytying, and till you beat top level guys you are no one to brag about being the best.

My detailed breakdown comes on Friday, only thing I can say right now is that Plant has a very very tough task ahead of him.

Uzcategui got dropped because he was fighting with zero respect for Plant's power. Both shots that put Jose down were right on the money and both times he popped up like a jack-in-the box, more surprised than hurt. Plant doesn't have the pop to keep Alvarez off him.

I was fairly confident Usyk would beat Joshua but I'm just as confident if not more so that Alvarez beats plant. Alvarez is a monster puncher and plant can be hit.

I said mark my words because I am overly confident that I will see something in this fight that I haven't seen in each of Canelo's last 5 fights...and that is him being hit and often...I even predict at some point in the fight Caleb Plant is going to walk to Canelo....now don't panic when you witness something like that....lol...I know what's coming....plants jab is too good and he's too big. Period

And here's the thing about plant not facing the type of competition that you would like him to....WE JUST DONT KNOW how he'll react in there facing the tippy top of the division until he's in there.....my prediction is he'll do more than fine.

One thing about Canelo Is he just doesn't have an unbeatable style no matter how much you want him to have that. His recent level of competition should indeed factor into this as well. As much as you think Callum Smith is a good fighter there are tons of others like me that thinks he was just a fortunate British domestic level fighter and nothing more.

Plant wins and shocks most of the boxing community....but not I said the cat.

He beats a drunk, old as well as a shot Kovalev that I believe absolutely feared Canelo in a Tyson sort of way before he even entered the ring. He also hasn't fought since Canelo KO'ed him and and my bet is that he never fights again. He beats Saunders who's biggest wins were a SD over Eubanks eight years ago and the beating of the one dimensional Lemieux. None of these fighters come close to being world beaters. That also doesn't take into account that Canelo should have lost to Lara and GGG and the second fight was also close. I also clearly remember many in the boxing world claiming that GGG was highly overrated and it would be an easy fight for Canelo before the first fight. Many also believed that the Trout fight was to close to call and Jacobs was was also able to make it a close fight and I felt no need to even mention Floyd. So based on his resume since he moved up I don't understand all the hoopla of him being such monster that can't be beat. As far as Plant is concerned I believe his biggest handicap isn't even his lack of knock out power I believe it is his lack of stamina. I would hope that would have been something he has worked on and he also doesn't seem to have any fear of Canelo. I won't say that lant will win but I do believe that Plant is the best fighter by a long shot that Canelo has faced since he moved up from those pesky middleweights. Remember them the ones who should have won a couple of those fights and made most of them close.
You said it all son. You have the eye of a tiger...keep up the good work. Canelo is a really good fighter but he has been barely challenged and his career has been managed very carefully.

Said that, I see this fight as 60/40 in favor of Canelo.

If Plant scores 3 knockdowns and wins 10 rounds, he maybe gets a draw, lol.
              Wow this is a fact.

I believe its because most fans are way to on one side or the other. They are either a fan of Canelo's or they straight up don't don't like him and there is nothing wrong with those positions. With that said I'm honestly neither and I am therefore able to see his career more clearly for what it is.

Hope you guys keep all this energy and don't run away from boxingscene come Monday morning after Canelo have brutalized that boy or beaten him into submission. Even if you dont respect his competition which is asinine, the eye test tells you he is levels above Plant. Don't let your dislike for him cloud your judgment. Plant doesn't have the power to keep him at bay and he aint this sleek boxer either and saying Plant is going to walk Canelo down, now that sounds like pure comedy.

I see Plant hitting and not being hit. I'll be the first here to say Plant could even drop him. Fanboys can roar, I don't care. Those British fighters weren't as tough as Plant. Alvarez will find this out. 12 rounds and Alvarez loses.

There isnt a dumber boxing guy on the planet. He's horrific in his boxing knowledge. The biggest fake ever. Secondly, Canelo has lost to " boxer " type fighters and ****ers. Forget what the judges tell you, Triple G won both fights. These were Triple G's belts and Canelo didn't take those away from him. Take this to the bank, Canelo wanted nothing to do with a 3rd fight. Only now that Triple G is 40 is Canelo even contemplating it. Canelo is far from unbeatable. He's been beat on a few occasions. The problem now is he has Mayweather's disease. Which is , very selective opponent picking. In fact, besides the Triple G fights, his opponents have been all carefully selected. Especially timing-wise. Big name, downside of career type opponents or just weak opponents with big names. It's genius. But it doesn't fool me. Lyle actually lives near me and we're about the same age and we've actually been to alot of fights the same throughout the years. You don't know me but I read your articles. . Lyle, your slipping. Big time.
