For me it’s a great win. Plant is 6 feet longer reach with better hand speed. This is going to be a good fight. Plant is a quality opponent from an ability standpoint.

Thats the thing,on 1 hand I don't think Plant stands a chance, but on the other hand I keep seeing ppl say they think he'll win or that he has a great chance.

I just don't know what a Plant win would even look like?

        Plant has something Porter doesn't.
Nelo has constantly faced better opposition.

Canelo’s been known to give up rounds early in fights. And it’s the hand speed that’s the key for Plant IMO. Canelo’s beaten some great fighters but like most fighters he struggled with fighters that had hand speed, ala Floyd and Lara. He hasn’t really fought anyone with that kind of hand speed since.

I guess it depends. I’ve seen nothing from Plant to make me think it will even be as close as the BJS fight after the first few rounds but people seem to be high on him. I’m honestly pretty confused as to why unless everyone is basing it on movers fighting Canelo close YEARS AGO while assuming he hasn’t improved in all that time. My opinion is that Canelo has improved more than any current boxer in the past few years, fought top level opposition, and is used to the huge events. Plant can’t crack an egg and has no notable wins. I think after about the halfway point Canelo just batters him.

I don’t get what you’re trying to say. So you don’t think Caleb has hand speed?

Callum Smith & even (Old) Gennadiy would both beat the piss out of Plant. People already standing in line to discredit Alvarez next Sunday morning on here.

Plant has skills but no experience at this level. It’s difficult to even guess how he will respond.
