I saw Paully get a haircut between rounds, how much class is that. Hell Larry will even talk about a mans personal life. These guys fore the most part arent refered to as classless. No, their just out spoken right. They have somethig in common dont they.
I haven't like Mallignaggi for awhile now, but his "hair cut" was one of necessity, not arrogance. That said, I don't peg him as one of the classist guys out there either. Merchant may be pompous, but he's doing his job and he does it well. Roach has had his moments lately acting like a ****, but most of the time that isn't his personality. Nobody can say that Floyd sr, Roger and little Floyd aren't arrogant, insulting, defensive and derisive the majority of the time you see them. Jeff doesn't act that way which in my opinion makes him the class of the family.

Dont care about the race part, but when you bring up Floyd Sr and Roach, when they were going back and forth I remember Sr insults would always be about Boxing on the other hand Roach would bring up things that had nothing to do with boxing.

The point I was making about Paully is that a "classy" professional would have never done anything that ****** to jeopardize their career in the first place. You have to admit it was kinda classless. As for Merchant, To me he is a reminder of a time in not only boxing history but American history of a hateful time not soon to be forgotten. He gets a kick out of his little ethnic cracks and I dont think its funny. I think its classless. I dont have a problem with Roach talkin **** but it is viewed different than Floyd sr but its so the same. One case I can make for the Mayweather clan is when their being what you call classless, theyre usually talking about boxing not complaining or degrading a boxer personally. That makes them good for the sport.

You may be right, but who started with the insults first? Two wrongs don't make a right, but Floyd did throw the first stone. doesn't matter though. 9 times out of 10 Floyd, Roger and Floyd jr are obnoxious. Jeff carries himself with more class. Thats all Im saying.

I think Mallignaggi is a punk, but the whole hair thing had nothing to do with class and everything to do with ******ity.

As for Merchant, To me he is a reminder of a time in not only boxing history but American history of a hateful time not soon to be forgotten. He gets a kick out of his little ethnic cracks and I dont think its funny. I think its classless.
Well, lets get down to brass tacks. What time in American history are you talking about and how EXACTLY is Merchant a reminder of it?

I dont have a problem with Roach talkin **** but it is viewed different than Floyd sr but its so the same.
Its not the same when one side does it constantly and the other does it occasionally.

One case I can make for the Mayweather clan is when their being what you call classless, theyre usually talking about boxing not complaining or degrading a boxer personally. That makes them good for the sport.
Talking about how you "steal money" and how much money you have and how great you are isn't good for the sport. And you must have forgotten Floyds comments on why he wouldn't fight Shane or Cotto. That is disrespectful. You must not remember Roger putting down plenty of fighters and being arrogant and dismissive. Like I said, Jeff is the only class in that family. As soon as Floyds career is over for good, both Roger and Floyd sr will fade from the spot light quickly. Bank on it.
