This is true. My problem is historically we know which of his fighters normally get hit with the stall button. But Andy, Manny and Mikey may correct me on that. LOL

There's a reason why Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, and Mikey had to leave! I feel bad for Shakur! He's been chasing Valdez since 126, and yet he still can't get that fight! If I were Shakur, I would tell him, "I want Colbert! You can make Fury vs. Wilder, and Crawford vs. Porter, then do that for me!" Stevenson (Newark) vs. Colbert (Brooklyn) is tailor-made for MSG! Now if Colbert loses to Gutierrez, then take the Berchelt fight, and handle your business!

Don't have a problem with this mini-tournament. Will clear some fights out. Berchelt looked real bad in that Valdez fight, the weight cut looked like it affected him, his legs looked stiff and he didn't look steady. Maybe he can get a better weight cut in next go round.

I'm not sure Valdez gets past Navarette. But whoever wins that matchup should have some momentum going into a finale (likely against Shakur).

Bob and Top Rank knows what happens to Valdez if they put him in there with Stevenson. Crawford and Stevenson really need to leave Top Rank. This ain't nothing new for them. They've been running this bullsh-t for ever. IMO they need to let someone whip Valdez cheating @ss. FACTS!!!

Same reason that Crawford didn't get the Pac fight a few years ago. Stevenson knows what's up, that's why he's been voicing his concerns regarding the Valdez fight.

Here's why I think this mini-torno is a bad idea. Berchelt is coming off a fight where he lost to a juiced and roided up Valdez. He was put on a stretcher and sent to the hospital in an ambulance. He took a lot of punishment in that fight against an obvious cheater. Why would you put him right back in there against Shakur where he would get mauled. Let Berchelt come back safely by giving him 1 or 2 layups and then let him fight the champs. If we want to make boxing MAGA (terrible analogy I know) then we should make Valdez v Shakur next. If not, then Shakur and Berchelt should leave TR!
