Fury should retire for like 6 months, while Whyte fights Wallin and loses. Then he would come back and give Wallin a rematch.

I know this was meant as a jokey/trollish post but If Fury retires he would drop the belt and Whyte would end up facing, I believe Deontay Wilder as number 1 contender (couldn't make up these rankings!).

Wallin isn't ranked top 15 to fight for the belt outside a voluntary.

Losses don't always mean a lot. I think Whyte being open to the uppercut means more than the loss.

Top Rank and Bob Arum don't do purse bids. Expect Eddie to really put the screws to ESPN by taking Tyson Fury off of American television. This fight is headed to the U.K and on DAZN.

Like I said Bob doesn't get into bidding wars for title fights but Eddie Hearn does. He loves purse bids. This fight is mandatory. So if the two sides can't reach an agreement then it becomes a free for all for the highest bidder.

Fury should either do a deal or drop the belt. Eddie Hearn isn't to be trusted and will try and do anything to rob Tyson. I wouldn't even put it past him to bribe the referee and have him disqualified for no reason, like they tried to do with Del Boy against Whyte.

I agree. The time matters. When AJ beat Whyte it was a while ago too. But Whytes recent loss leaves question marks.

But bear in mind a lot of (most?) refs would've stopped the Wallin fight too.

Point is, it's easy to look at a record and say blah, blah, blah, but there's often more to it in boxing, even to the point of underestimating an opponent. Both are potentially guilty of that.

Having a balance point of view is important, and while Fury is clearly the best in the division right now, the levels we talk about are being slightly blown out of proportion. Take a step back and be fair.

Whyte looks awful when ever he fights, but has still only lost twice.

I think he’s just one of those guys that’s awful to watch. This will be a stinker (that i’m going to watch)

Fury’s a far better boxer than Whyte will ever be, but believe me when I say that, not only will this contest blow, and HARD, but it’s gonna be close.

Smothering each other will suit either fighter fine, but I think Fury will be more worried about the left hook than Whyte will be of what’s coming his way.
I honestly think Wilder has a better chance of knocking Whyte out.

Fury and Whyte, on the other hand, are going the distance in a complete stinker, which I expect Fury to win by split decision. You’ve heard it HERE first!

I thought Whyte looked dominant in both Povetkin fights (the first unil the KO). And Fury doesn't have KO power. He hit wilder over 100 times.
