Not even a big fan of Josh but he’ll absolutely destroy Ennis.

Ennis has zero defence and any counterpuncher with power will knock him out cold with the way he blocks punches with his face.

Get hyped like the next big thing, only to get chinned by a kilt wearing Scot.

Teofimo Lopez is the only American boxer that deserves hype - the ones getting hyped are pedestrian!

Good thing for you he gets to hide over at Top Rank and we’ll never know. Boots Ennis is superior to Josh Taylor in every way possible from a physical standpoint. Boots Ennis is superior to Josh Taylor in every way possible from a technical standpoint. You can say Josh Taylor has more experience than Boots but I’ll take the better fighter every time. If Taylor lasted 8 rounds I’d be impressed.

Taylor fights at 140 and Ennis at 147...why did you pick a JWW instead of the plethora of WW available

kilt wearing scot...... I don't think you have watched Ennis closely. Ennis knocks him out without too much fuss. Taylor is good but his undoing is that he is always up for a tear up which gets him knocked out by the switch hitter

I like both guys but don't be so ridiculous Boots would savagely knock JT out

He’s moving up to 147. There’s no fight left for him at 140 unless Teo moves up to fight him.

I’ve seen Ennis and I’m not really impressed. A lot of boxers look exceptional knocking off cans but when the opposition improves - they will look ordinary.

Jury is still out on Josh but he’s a tough lad that can punch and also take it. He’s also a southpaw and he’ll be all wrong for an Ennis that fights with his chin open to be hit.

A British boxer that fought as brilliantly as he did to become undisputed deserves some credit. Brits traditionally struggle against hookers.

As you said his competition hasnt been the best so perhaps he can be gung ho with his chin up with the Tomato cans he has been up again but he has many different styles where he can be very elusive and hard to hit. Ennis is also an aggressive Southpaw as well as Orthodox . The same quick hard combinations he throws will hit any fighter. He has great footwork too.

Josh is very good and i thought Prograis would beat him up. He impressed me in that fight and then went on and became undisputed against a mediocre champion in my opinion

Switch hitters aren’t as effective as guys who are traditionally in one stance.

Also putting his chin up there looks like a habit and it’s difficult to get rid of something like that. A counterpuncher with power will test his chin.

I’m not really high on Josh Taylor like that and the jury is still out on him until he beats a live dog. But you can’t teach heart/grit and he has fought better opponents compared to Ennis. He is also a southpaw and that increases his chances. I think Teo will beat him but he’ll batter Ennis.

I strongly disagree. I think Ennis would destroy Taylor.
