And they did their best to force him on us. Surprised he broke past the “FS1” line and made it to main event on Showtime.

I never liked his sloppy style…can’t stand tall lanky fighters…Paul Williams was my last favorite.

14 fights later, and still no title shot? Who has Butaev beaten? Who has Stanionis beaten? 28-0 w/ 26 KOs, and my guy is still not in a mandatory position? Kudratillo Abdukakhorov is IBF #1, with 18 fights! Who did he beat? Luis Collazo? C'mon son!

Everyone’s path is different . Ennis is only 24 and fighting guys with losing records for half of his career in learning fights. Canelo had about 35 fights before he got a title shot, because he was also a young fighter learning his craft

Abdukakhorov was fighting guys with decent records after about 6 or 7 fights, Ennis was fighting guys with more losses than wins after 14 fights. It is what it is.

Ennis will get his shot. They just had different paths and moved differently early in their career. Plus, governing body rankings don’t often make a lot of sense, hence why awful fighters get title shots. IBF is the worst for it.

It was a sudden stoppage but it wasn't a terrible stoppage. Throughout the fight, thought the ref Ruiz was favoring James. Would interrupt work done by Butaev by breaking them up (even Mares commented on it). James looked like he was on skates after the first. He didn't seem to complain.

Took Zepeda and Butaev in a parlay. Easy money.

Like I've been saying for ages, bad management of Ennis. Ennis needs to fire someone.

All valid points. The issue is that Ennis is not with a big name promoter and the TRs GBs and PBC fighters all get preference over the fighters of small time promoters. I hope that Ennis career doesn't pan out like Demetrius Andrade's - total crying shame - still avoided at 33 years of age.

But I think the difference between Ennis and Andrade is that Ennis is way more dynamic and makes for better ratings. His time is coming real soon. I think Spence is gonna get stripped of at least one title for inactivity or put on the bench and Jared can fight for the vacant belt.

I bet on them separately ( Zepeda KO ) and after placing the 2nd bet was thinking should have parlayed it - damn!

Is there a betting threat on NSB ?? If there isn't there should be one.
