Vargas man what an absolute joke. Got exactly what he deserved. All that trash talkin was so forced and unwarranted he made a complete ass outta himself. Zepeda must be on cloud 9 & rightfully so.

I’m Puerto Rican and I was rooting for Zepeda. Vargas was a clown all week & I thought he was gonna lose but also thought he was gonna come with something.

I feel bad for PR boxing, so much talent from our tiny little island & we had this idiot representing us tonight. Fxck it, this kid doesn’t count he’s a New Yorican just trying to bank off the island lol dude doesn’t even speak a lick of Spanish.

Cong**** to Zepeda really hoping he gets a title shot or a big fight next.

I always liked Zepeda after seeing him in that brutal war vs Baranchyk. He’s got balls of steal.

Happy to see Zepeda teach this kid a lesson. That's what Vargas gets for being so disrespectful towards a proven warrior like Zepeda.

They were banking that Zepeda was shop worn and came in too confidant. That is the result of a proven experienced fighter.

The way Vargas was lunging in, it seemed like Zepeda was just measuring him for a left hand from about 45 seconds into the fight.

I think this might be the first fight I've seen when a fighter gets knocked down, tries to stand up and falls back down (twice, right?), and the ref doesn't stop it. There's a reason they stop it in that case.

That's exactly what he was setting up. In Timmy's pre-fight keys to success,or whatever they call it,that was one of the keys they brought up and showed Vargas getting tagged by that same set up over and over. Even post fight, him and his Dad said that was something they had been working on as well but not even 2min in he gets his lights put out by that very same defensive flaw smh.

Yea,he was clearly done, legs were shot. I suspect because it was supposed to be his "coming out party" at home, the ref tried to give him as much time/opportunity to try and survive....the air got ****** out of that balloon real quick lol.

Vargas talked so much before the fight & even started a scrap at the weigh in, just to get knocked the *** out in the very 1st round withoit even landing a shot himself..What a fool.
& the N.Y. commission did Zepeda & his team dirty when they only kick out of his corner his brother/trainer, & Zepeda said before the fight that he was looking for the KO cause everything seemed to go the local fighters way..
