THE TRUTH: Joshua's best days are behind him.

Joshua cannot get Ruiz out of his head and now Usyk is there too. How many more fighters can fit inside his head before he calls it quits. In August instead of concentrating on Usyk he made a statement that he granted Ruiz the title as if it was out of the goodness of his heart that he ate all those Ruiz punches so he could grant the title to him. Now he still has that fight in his head. True and knowledgeable fight fans know that the second fight was a paper win only. Ruiz is still king with him in the ring.

Now he has excuses for the Usyk fight. All good fighters need to adapt in the ring. That is the feeling out process in the first few rounds. It was his team that caused the loss not that Usyk was the better fighter. blah blah blah. All bs that nobody will fall for except some of the so called Joshua fans. What were those awkward discussions with his team? My guess is telling him that Usyk is just a more skilled fighter and that to beat him he is probably going to the hospital again after the rematch.

Joshua was a big favourite for his first fight with Ruiz but suffered the first defeat of his professional career and lost his heavyweight titles to the American
Joshua has insisted that he won't be leaving head coach Rob McCracken, despite touring a number of gyms and meeting with top trainers in America, but says his game plan was all wrong for the Usyk bout

Gauntlet's resume when you compare him to staring boxing at 18 like Wilder so he has had no time to learn. 2 early defeats like Vlad and Lennox who people said were stiff/robotic and chinny too. I agree with Whyte he is fighting a bit like a weirdo right now, definitely has to find in confidence and a heavyweight coach. Not sure why he didn't visit Jonathan Banks who took over Vlad after Emmanuel passed. That's a perfect match. Go down to Shield's camp in Texas b/c all of his boys are fit and 12 rd fighters, Lara and Charlos or hire Larry Wade, Porter's fitness guy. I see AJ as an easy fix. That temple shot from Ruiz still has him foggy.

He just turned 32 so I don't see any way he would be close to 40 and still fighting. There are too many fighters out there that can tag him and he doesn't have the best chin or stamina. As he ages he will get tagged more and figure out his time has come.

Yes, he wants some big names in resume so by fighting till 40 he will have an amazing body ofbwork. 40 comes fast and 1 fight a year that's only 8 more fights

Anthony Joshua will win the rematch, but? He is for sure still dealing with issues from his Ruiz I loss. I don't think, I have ever seen a fighter 'Top Champion, at elite level so affected long term by a loss'.

That is why you cannot compare Anthony Joshua to Lennox Lewis, as Lewis obliterated his opponents in multiple ways in rematches. Lennox Lewis actually evolved after each loss, and they did not negatively traumatize him long term etc

Joshua is at-least aware that his approach was wrong, and he needs to go back to his old style. Joshua actually was in better condition vs Pulev than against Usyk. I think Joshua once again was slightly over-trained. For me whenever Joshua starts getting around 240 - just under 240 pounds, it is a clear indication that he is obsessing in training. Clear sign that he is training in a manner that does not embrace his fundamental strengths.

Joshua from this point on wards, needs to look back in his training documentation pre Ruiz I. Then duplicate that training and lifestyle once again now, because that is exactly the type of Joshua and game plan that is going to cause Usyk issues.

They say that you need to dedicate 10'000 hours to become a expert at anything. Joshua even though he started boxing late, the amount of hours of dedication he is has put in over this past decade must of well surpassed 10'000 hours 'If he was going to turn into a technical genius, he would of done already'.

Joshua needs to understand that, it is all good and well going down the intricate technical route 'And he has improved this area of his game, but he has neglected what won him Olympic Gold, what got him up off the canvas to blast out Kiltschko'.

The neglect needs to stop now, Joshua has to embrace all the things some of his opponents would mock him about. His athletic attributes, combination punching at mid-range, and basic fundamentals. Essentially what got Joshua to the top was, a physical presence, power, determination and combination punching.

Joshua represses that presence these days, and since Ruiz I 'Was trying to be something he is not innately'.

I think Joshua will win the rematch via stoppage, the rematch once again will be won or loss in training camp 'This time around, I just believe Joshua will prepare optimally'.

I still think he’s the same fighter tbh, maybe slightly more fragile mentally but I don’t see much difference other than he’s now fighting guys who can expose his flaws. Usyk isn’t a 40 year old faded HW or a C level guy.
