I don't trust the WBC or PBC. I'm sure Haymon paid extra to have Uzcategui test positive in this whole ''Title Eliminator.'' I wouldn't be surprised if Benavidez is not on scheduling cutting weight. This way, with the fight off, the contracts are VOID, and Benavidez can then use a substance to make weight for 168 or fight above 168 for a NEW FILLER fight that doesn't involve the ''Title Eliminator.''

Haymon NEEDS Benavidez for as long as it lasts to market a Canelo fight, including Charlo. Those will be the new offers to Canelo after Plant. They want to make sure David is ok in every aspect. If he were to lose to Uzcategui the Canelo fight is off
Is it just me or Benavidez should be able to make 168 comfortably? I don't see him as this massive guy that should move up to 175. He just has horrible dedication.

Sucks for Benavidez... This was going to be his breakout showcase. Oh well.

Well if the original contracts are void then it means VADA is void. Which means the replacement fight goes under regular commission rules in AZ… so if in theory Reynoso Camp haters said Valdez was cheating to cut weight with diuretics and was exempt, then it means Benavidez can now take something even less of radar than VADA’s list to make weight. the politics of boxing isn’t all that complicated since it’s not regulated with the context of fighter whose had trouble for 168. It’s all about money. PBC needs Benavidez in a positive light at all costs for the Canelo fight offer. PBC wants that fight for its portfolio

Too bad Uzcategui isn't promoted by Arum, his fighters slid right thru there positive tests.

Sad day for fans. I hate it, but I can see why someone would try to get an illegal edge for Benavidez, though. Because Benavidez has good stamina and sets a fast pace. And he comes to really hurt you. This is a style that makes some fighters feel like they need extra help against

The WBC/VADA would have never done this had either Wilder or Fury popped dirty for doping or PED use because of the size and magnitude of that fight or if it was another high profile PPV fighter who was popular among the crossover casual fan. They would have just simply hidden the results or looked the other way because of the potential lost of revenue involved. I declare, these sanctioning and governing bodies are just as crooked and corrupt as can be.

Oscar valdez just popped dirty and the wbc let him slide. They didn't hide it. And they still let him fight and keep his title.

And He isnt even a ppv fighter.
