Kessler has much better technique than Froch and he's still not able to do the damages Froch does to his opponents with poor technique. Danilo Haussler fight showed Kessler packs a good punch but that doesn"t make him a big puncher. He's a fair puncher, Froch hits way harder.

Froch probably has a better haymaker but overall Id say Kesslers punches have more behind them, as its been pointed out it comes from technique.
