I like Ward and I LEARNED to respect Calzaghe. Tuff fight to call. To say Ward would dominate him is a fool’s prediction. Close fight. Possibly a trilogy type fight.
How badly does Calzaghe batter Andre Ward

Ward only "batters" people with headbutts and nut shots. With a competent referee he would lose prime vs prime to Calslappy. "Veteran tactics" doe

Dawson lost to Adonis Stevenson, Fonfara, Pascal, Ward, and some random nobody. The dude was absolutely a hypejob.
The clinching complaint is interesting. I wholeheartedly disagree that Chad was a hypejob. He was the #1 ranked Light Heavyweight, and was on P4P lists. But, when people like Wlad and Fury clinch as much as they did/do, it's considered tactical and strategic. Which is a notion I agree with. However, with Ward it's dirty.
Wlad avenged all of his losses and dominated 98% of his opponents.
Fury just KO'd the supposed "boogeyman" aka alternative energy by WINDMILLS...TWICE.
Fury isn't punching anyone in the nuts, holding and hitting, hitting after on the break, etc. That's what Ward did. Fury didn't run around the ring like a girl everytime Deontay hit him with a jab, Andre did when Sergey jabbed him.
Fury is everything Andre wanted to be. Strong, tough, smart, and white.Comment

I agree. I liked Ward when he was A.T.F. but he became a part time fighter. Was never very exciting. Sloppy Joe was ugly at times, but tough and determined. Surprisingly good rubber band defence. This fight is hard to sell tickets to. It’s be close. Could bring the best and worst out of both.Comment
