Disgusting that the champion is mandated to make a defence where he's getting the smaller purse %!

      Stevenson is such a bore.
what a shame, had such high hopes when he was in the olympics.
no power. Not the type of fighter you’d remember in decades to come

I'm putting some money on Herring. I can't pass the opportunity up. I think the odds are too wide.

Shakur is kind of a dic but a really sharp fighter. Herring a nice guy but can he beat the phenom?

This fight will clear up questions for both. Can Shakur win fights where he doesn't have such a huge skill advantage? Can he withstand incoming fire in a war? For Herring: can he blast through the stylish skills of someone like Shakur? How each responds to facing a high-level opponent will decide the outcome.

I have no idea how this one will end, but I'm taking a flyer on J. Herring ... I think he can make a war and withstand a war ... while acknowledging that Shakur may step up and show he has greatness (and steal the show). This is an excellent matchup.

Herring hasn't got much pop either. Like a couple of moths going at it for 12 rounds.
