Why did fury avoid David haye

I have a lot of respect for the legendary gypsy king but he has never addressed this. He could’ve chased haye and waited for him to come back from injury

Haye pulled out twice


Before the first fight, he cut his own eyebrow with a razor and said it was done in sparring , 7 days before the fights

Then he pulled out of the rescheduled fight saying he had a shoulder injury and retired.

Haye was shook after the Fury press conferences and pulled out

After that, Fury vowed never to give Haye a payday because he spent so much money on 2 training camps, only to be pulled out on twice. It left him with financial problems at the time.
