yeah, but seriously, detached retina is no joke and needs an operation and lot of time to recover, especially for the pros of any sport

He’s being matched well too IMO, getting the right experience, not being rushed.
It's not by design IMO...He just isn't with the PBC or TR or GBP so he can't get certain fights. If it was up to him, he would go right after the top guns. Dude lives in the gym man, even when he doesn't have a fight lined up. Almost all his posts are just about putting in 5 miles or getting a sparring session done. Like we don't even know anything else about him lol.

He still needs to show he can take a shot. If he can show that? Then I'm telling you, put him in against Spence and Crawford tomorrow and he's giving them hell and then some. Him vs Crawford may be the most explosive match up we have seen in years...I know you think Crawford beats Spence but I think Spence will give Boots a tougher fight. Spence is very consistent, has great balance and is always in position to throw. Boots can get off balance at times and isn't impossible to hit. The reason I think he matches up well with Crawford or at least better than he does vs Spence is because Crawford is kind of a similar fighter but Boots has better physical attributes.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves though. Crawford vs Porter first and then hopefully the winner vs Spence. Boots will have to wait a little longer.

Lucky for Manny he would have been stopped.

How long does a 2-millimeter nick take to heal, I had major eye surgery years ago it was brand new in 6 weeks, the eye is one of the best healers in your body its not like surgery to a muscle or tendon that is moving all the time.

its easy to say that now as ugas had been preparing through the pandemic for the scam haymon pulled, manny looked bad because this guy was ready for him and pac was ready for spence

**** al haymon and the pbc

manny just lost. No scam. He’s just was too old. He’s lost to much worse when younger like horn so this isn’t surprising.

you should be happy Spence got hurt because there isn’t enough saltwater to heal the beating Manny would’ve got.

Jinkee would still be feeding him now.

I don’t necessarily see anyone beating Crawford as of now, I just think he’s that good. Obviously we don’t know how good Ennis, Ortiz etc are yet but they’d have to be pretty damn special to beat Crawford IMO.

I don’t see Boots getting into that elite mix until 2023 tbh. Dulorme will likely be his last fight this year, so hopefully he has 3-4 fights next year putting him in a position to face Spence or Crawford. Hopefully he gets to fight a Thurman, Garcia or maybe even Porter toward the end of next year.

We will see, Spence vs Bud is a pick-em for me....I'm not picking ANYONE to beat Ennis. Does that mean Ennis beats all of them? No, just that I won't pick anyone to beat him.

But you're right, he's not fighting the top guys for a bit unless he can somehow get the mandatory spot for one of the titles. His best bet was Ugas but now that's not happening with the WBA tourney and him beating Pacquiao.

Let's just hope Spence vs Bud happens regardless of Ugas situation with the WBA.
