Mike Perez has never been the same since the Abdusalamov fight. The move down to CW made no difference. I have never seen a HW have success dropping down in weight only a CW moving up. Chris Byrd & Eddie Chambers come to mind. There have been a few step up to HW for a fight & go back down like Breidis & Roy Jones but I have yet to see a guy start as a HW then drop down & have success. If there are any I’d like to know who…
